The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is looking for Software Developer in Test or Quality Assurance Engineer interns to help their IT departments develop and maintain test automation, create and execute test plans, and collect and report quality metrics. This internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in a supportive environment while working on technology that furthers the mission of the Church.

Required

Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy

Internships are for current temple worthy members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

You should be currently enrolled (or within one year of your graduation date) from an accredited college or university

Technology background is highly preferred

Highly computer literate and familiar with various operating system and internet browser environments and cloud technology

Excellent communication skills for interacting with and providing information to management levels will be needed

Project management experience is desired

Exposure to software testing

Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java/J2EE, C#, JavaScript, XML, C#)

Familiarity with applications/frameworks (such as Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, Git, AWS, Selenium, Webdriver.io and Cypress)

Familiarity with databases

Time management skills

Ability to interact well in a team environment

Self motivated

Strong attention to detail

Scripting or coding will be required in interview

Preferred

Technology background is highly preferred

Project management experience is desired

Exposure to software testing
