Responsibilities
Lead and execute manufacturing improvement projects focused on process optimization, productivity, cost reduction, and waste elimination
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify operational challenges and implement sustainable, data-driven solutions
Analyze production and performance data to uncover opportunities for efficiency gains, throughput improvement, and capacity expansion
Support the deployment of Lean Manufacturing principles, process controls, and equipment upgrades to improve operational reliability
Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget
Develop, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and support continuous improvement efforts
Contribute to workforce development by supporting training initiatives, coaching team members, and promoting employee engagement in improvement activities
Partner with the Plant Manager on operational planning, budgeting, and capital improvement initiatives
Participate in leadership development programs and continuous learning opportunities
Source and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors, comparing cost, quality, and technical capability
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated success in process improvement, project management, and cross-functional collaboration within a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate data into actionable improvement strategies
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence teams without direct authority
Proven adaptability, organizational skills, and ability to manage changing priorities
Strong people skills with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline required
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or process engineering role
Preferred
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement methodologies preferred
Experience in plastic injection molding environments is a strong plus
