Software Engineer
CurvePoint is solving a genuinely hard problem: real-time perception in uncontrolled environments using wireless signals. The role involves building core software systems for CurvePoint’s Wi-AI sensing platform, blending backend development, data engineering, and edge/IoT systems.

Responsibilities
Build and operate backend services and APIs that power device management, data ingestion, and analytics
Design and maintain data pipelines for high-volume, time-series sensor data
Develop software that runs on edge / embedded Linux devices (buffering, health checks, sync, monitoring)
Own edge-to-cloud workflows across unreliable networks and constrained environments
Deploy and operate services in AWS using containerized workflows
Work closely with ML and hardware engineers to turn research and prototypes into production systems
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong Python (or similar systems language) and comfort working in Linux environments
Experience building backend services and APIs
Solid understanding of data pipelines, storage systems, and distributed systems basics
Experience deploying and operating software in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Comfort debugging production issues and taking ownership
Preferred
Experience with IoT, edge computing, or embedded systems
Familiarity with streaming, queues, or event-driven architectures
Exposure to ML pipelines or data-heavy systems
Background in networking, wireless systems, or hardware-adjacent software
