Responsibilities

Helping importers and exporters achieve worldwide compliance and realize efficiencies in their global supply chain
Advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance
Working with clients to assess and deploy technology solutions to enable international trade management operations
Planning and compliance assistance, and exploration of automated import and export solutions
Supply chain efficiency planning including trade and security, customs valuation planning, first sale for export planning, and the analysis of transfer pricing policies to work towards compliance with customs valuation requirements
Process improvement planning and implementation assistance
Trade compliance audit assistance and representation before trade authorities around the world

Required

Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week
3+ years of experience in Import, Export and/or Technology Enablement experience (operational, government, law firm, or consulting)
Bachelor's degree in a legal, business or technology related field
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Experience with US import regulations
Knowledge of export regulations, including ITAR/EAR
Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Strong substantive understanding of general commercial contractual agreements and the key clauses typically found in these agreements i.e. limitation of liability, indemnification, warranties, termination etc
3+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing general commercial contractual agreements
Level of familiarity with technology and its application in the contract lifecycle management field
Strong Microsoft Office and other technology skills including, but not limited to, Excel, PPT, Visio, Power BI, Tableau
Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, Licensed Attorney (or foreign equivalent), Enrolled Agent, PMP (Project Management Certification), Contract & Commercial Management (CCM) Certification Program, Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (Project Management Institute-ACP), Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Procurement/Legal Procurement or SAS® Certified Data Scientist, Paralegal Certification with a 4-year degree, Other Technical Certifications: Six Sigma (Black Belt and Green Belt), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) Contract & Commercial Management (CCM) Certification Program, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (Project Management Institute-ACP), Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), The Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP), Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or SAS® Certified Data Scientist, DocuSign (Workflow Manager, E-signature, CLM, etc.), iCertis, Onit Product Suite (Level 2 and above), Conga CLM, Agiloft, Sirion Labs, Kira, Thomson Reuters (Legal Tracker, High Q, or Contract Express), Wolters Kluwer Passport (Passport Legal Spend and Matter Management), Mitratech Team Connect and TAP
