We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team in a billing oversight role
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of third-party billing, experience with billing software (preferably Point Click Care), and a strong background in developing and managing policy and procedural compliance
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a team environment yet is driven to achieve independent success
Strong management skills, a proven track record in reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and maintaining low receivable balances are key to this role

Qualification
Required
Experience in nursing home accounts receivable management
Billing system oversight
Resident trust management
Medicaid eligibility management
Extensive experience managing billing systems, including setting up rooms, adding new payer types, managing system security, and troubleshooting issues
Proven ability to develop and implement billing office policies
Oversee business office compliance for billing, debt collection, Medicare compliance, bad debt documentation, resident trust management, and handling documentation requests
Deep knowledge and experience in identifying and implementing best practices for billing operations
Proven success in collections, maintaining low Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and minimizing bad debt
Strong background in managing Medicaid pending and eligibility issues
Must enjoy working collaboratively within an organization
Strong management skills and the ability to train and motivate others
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred
Experience with Point Click Care
Experience working in Connecticut nursing facilities
