Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative team dedicated to evaluating and designing power systems for power-generating facilities
You’ll work closely with engineers from other disciplines, gaining valuable cross-functional experience and learning how electrical systems integrate into broader project scopes
With minimal supervision, you’ll manage your own assignments, balancing budget, scope, schedule, and quality, while delivering precise, code-compliant engineering documents such as drawings, calculations, and technical evaluations
Your work will be grounded in the latest industry codes, standards, and safety practices, especially those relevant to the nuclear sector
You’ll contribute to high-quality deliverables that align with both client expectations and ENERCON’s rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) standards
Beyond technical work, you’ll build strong client relationships through clear communication and professional collaboration
You’ll also have opportunities to travel to plant sites, where you’ll interface with client personnel and perform walk-downs of plant systems and components, bringing your designs to life and gaining hands-on experience in the field

Required

Completed a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university
Available to start in the next 1-2 months
A solid working foundation with your major's core concepts
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
Ability to effectively problem solve
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites
Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns
Must be able to work outside
Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings
Some roles may involve work on federal contracts that require employees to be citizens of the United States. For those specific positions, only applicants who can confirm their status as U.S. citizens will be considered
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies
