Responsibilities

Evaluate and design structural systems that support power-generating facilities
Manage assignments with minimal oversight, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Produce accurate, code-compliant engineering documents such as drawings, calculations, and technical evaluations
Stay current with industry codes, standards, and safety practices relevant to the nuclear sector
Travel to plant sites to interface with client personnel and perform walk-downs of plant structures and systems
Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication and quality engineering work

Required

Completed a bachelor's or master's degree in civil/structural engineering from an accredited university
Available to start in the next 1-2 months
Demonstrated proficiency in the preparation of structural designs
Proficient in Word and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members, presenting design proposals, and documenting design specifications
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites
Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns
Must be able to work outside
Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies
Completion of pre interview assessments
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship

Preferred

Design modification experiences preferred
Knowledge of structural analysis and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and RISA-3D is preferred
Knowledge of industry standards, willingness to participate in prototyping and testing, ability to create comprehensive design documentation preferred
