Responsibilities
Provide financial oversight and stewardship for the organization
Review and approve budgets, financial statements, and reporting
Ensure compliance with nonprofit finance & IRS standards
Partner with the Executive Director on fiscal planning and sustainability
Oversee financial policies, controls, and recordkeeping
Support grant and audit preparation as needed
Actively participate in Board meetings and committees
Qualification
Required
Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, nonprofit finance, or related field
Commitment to ethical practice, transparency, and equity
Ability to serve a minimum 1-year Board term
Willingness to attend regular Board meetings (virtual monthly meetings)
Passion for supporting survivors and strengthening community care systems
Preferred
Familiarity with nonprofit financial compliance
