TEACHING: 40% as assigned
CLINICAL DUTIES: 40% Efforts may be dedicated to activities that align with the incumbent's professional discipline
SERVICE: 10% as assigned
RESEARCH: 10% Efforts may be dedicated to research activities that align with the incumbent's professional discipline
Responsible for student success coaching, mentoring, and related activities
May represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or professional organization committees
Qualification
Required
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited academic program
Prior experience as a clinical pharmacist at an inpatient hospital for at least two years
Meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor
For Associate Professor: Must have strong record of research/publication, teaching, service, and clinical experience
Preferred
Prior teaching experience in a Doctor of Pharmacy program
PGY 1 or PGY 2 training in internal medicine, critical care, infectious disease, or psychiatry
Strong clinical interest in infectious disease, and/or psychiatry
Candidates with joint degrees (MPH, MHA, MBA, etc.) in addition to a Pharm.D. are strongly encouraged to apply
Candidates with board certification from BPS, or other credentialing from an accredited body
