Responsibilities
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays. This position is primarily Tuesday through Saturday evenings
Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner
Accurately take reservations for the dining room and club events
Confirm all reservations for lunch and dinner
Greet members and guests immediately with a smile and warm greeting
Assist members and guests with any requests and control the flow of seating in the dining room
Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
Requires strong organizational skills
Must be able to work independently
Must exceed customer/team expectations
Must be in proper uniform, crisp, clean, and in good repair, upon entering the property, including wearing name tag. Demeanor must be professional and welcoming
Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features
Maintain menu cleanliness
Ensure all side work is completed thoroughly at the beginning and end of each shift
Perform other jobs that will assist in quality member service as assigned by the Dining Room Manager, Membership Director and General Manager
Qualification
Required
Good communication skills required
Must be able to interact with members in a positive manner in order to assist them during their dining experience
Must have working knowledge of dining room service and POS system
Knowledge of common laws of courtesy
Must be able to work on feet, moving about at a quick pace for several hours at a time
Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 pounds
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays
