Hotel Sales Manager

bantr Hotel is an emerging boutique retreat located in Rothschild, Wisconsin, offering a modern lodge aesthetic and upgraded guest experiences. The Sales Manager will drive hotel revenue by developing new business and strengthening relationships with corporate, group, leisure, and event clients throughout Central Wisconsin, ensuring standout service and memorable stays.

Responsibilities

Proactively generate new business through outbound calls, email outreach, prospecting, and networking, using proven and new strategies
Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate, group, and event accounts for overnight stays and meetings
Create and execute a focused sales plan to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals
Develop partnerships with businesses and organizations across the region including:
Local and regional corporate accounts
Sports teams and tournaments
Wedding blocks
Meeting and training groups
Tour and leisure travel planners
Associations and community organizations
Respond quickly and professionally to RFPs and inbound inquiries
Conduct property tours and site visits for meeting planners, wedding clients, and group organizers
Prepare and present proposals, contracts, room blocks, and event details with accuracy and follow-through
Collaborate with operations and event staff to ensure each group and event runs smoothly from start to finish
Monitor competitor activity and local market demand to inform pricing and strategy (rate, occupancy, pace)
Maintain clean, organized CRM records and manage group pacing and forecasting
Attend weekly sales meetings and provide clear updates on pipeline, lead volume, and conversion results
Participate in trade shows, networking events, and community functions to build the bantr Hotel brand locally

Required

2+ years of hotel sales, hospitality sales, or related B2B sales experience
Strong ability to prospect, follow up, and close business
Comfortable building relationships in person and over the phone
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive
Experience with or willingness to learn sales tools/CRMs and hotel systems
Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to occasionally work evenings/weekends for events, tours, or networking
Experience with group blocks, weddings, or meeting/event sales
Knowledge of the Central Wisconsin business and travel market
Familiarity with RFP platforms and group sales process
