Chief Financial Officer
Confidential is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for the overall organizational performance regarding budget and long-term strategy. The CFO will develop financial strategies, oversee budget processes, and ensure operational alignment with the company's goals while managing financial risks and external partnerships.

Shaping the future of the company by serving as a strategic partner of the executive team and aligning financial and operational strategies with long-term business goals
Creating and implementing a robust financial/operational strategy that is aligned with the company and its subsidiaries’ long-term goals, ensuring sustainable growth
Ensuring that financial strategies developed balance the operational workflows in order to guide better decision-making that drive the company forward
Collaborate with the CEO and President to develop the company's strategic goals and translate into actionable plans
Identify and mitigate operational & financial risks to ensure compliance with regulations
Develop, establish, and update financial strategies by using financial and accounting information to inform strategic thinking and direction and by establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives
Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances where cost control is required
Oversee budget development process to ensure alignment with company goals and inform decisions
Monitor, implement, and update strategic tax planning for the company and subsidiary entities
Lead change initiatives and organizational transformations to adapt to evolving business needs, and effectively communicate change across the organization
Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and suppliers to optimize relationships and drive operational excellence
Monitor expenses and resource allocation to ensure financial objectives are met
Oversee financial due diligence and integration and strategy for acquisitions
Partnership and acquisition contract review and financial model consultation
Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, executives, auditors, public officials, etc
Conduct recurring leadership development conversations, developing/coaching team members including bi weekly 1:1s, effectively determine incentive payout, and give transformational performance feedback
Qualification
Required
Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience
Multi-entity/subsidiary experience
At least 10 years' experience as a CFO in financial-management firms
Required experience: private equity, raising capital debt equity, mergers and acquisitions, multi location expansion and operations, and consolidations/roll up
Expert knowledge in Accounting & GAAP, understanding the growth and complexities of Accounting as the business grows, impact of changing accounting on the business' financials
Expert knowledge of taxation and corporate structures
Ability to develop structures and financial impact on partnerships, transactions and taxations
Ability to get accounting measures prepared for going public
Demonstrates competency regarding cash to accrual basis, prepare for potential audits, prepare the infrastructure and reporting
Expert in financial forecasting - building out financial models and providing input
Understanding of all revenue streams and expense buckets that go into the model
Ability to coach around financial models that have multiple variables or components
Experience with M&A Activity, due diligence
Ability to build out and approve department budgets to prepare for headcount, technology implementation...etc
Ability to read contracts and understand its potential effects on the financials (i.e partnerships, vendor agreements..etc.)
