Senior Project Manager
AZAD Technology Partners is a leading provider of consulting services, and they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide project management services for the Work Planning & Delivery organization. The role involves overseeing a Control Center Project focused on technology modernization and infrastructure improvements, ensuring the project meets critical operational needs while allowing for future growth.

Responsibilities
Provide project management services to the Work Planning & Delivery organization
Work directly with the migration manager on a Control Center Project
Address technology modernization requirements and current physical infrastructure obsolescence issues
Design and construct a new control center and migrate all systems and functions into the project
Implement a modern Control Center with necessary continuity, security, and technology capabilities that support critical functions through all-hazards events
Develop project schedule timelines to reflect major tasks including scoping, planning, design, procurement, execution, and testing
Accurately assess and estimate project costs
Write and understand functional and technical specifications
Elicit information from stakeholders and document and communicate it via Project Plans, Functional & Technical Specifications, Schedules, Resource Plans, Budgets, and Presentations
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Organizational Development, Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred
With an applicable Bachelor's degree, 10 years of experience is required
Without a non-applicable Bachelor's degree, 12 years of experience is required
Without a Bachelor's degree, 14 years of experience is required
Experience must include project management and leading complex and high-risk Data Center, Control Room, Telecommunications, related projects using industry standard methods and tools for managing schedules, dependencies, resources, funding and developing technical specifications and project plans for large-sized projects (over $25M or manage 20+ people)
Experience accurately assessing and estimating project costs
Experience writing and understanding functional and technical specifications
Experience with developing project schedule timelines to reflect major tasks (scoping, planning, design, procurement, execution, testing)
Advanced skills with MS Project to include fundamental operation, function, and workflow regarding timelines, dependencies, project expectations, milestones, and resources
Expert at eliciting information from stakeholders, documenting and communicating, including via Project Plans, Functional & Technical Specifications, Schedules, Resource Plans, Budgets and Presentations
Valid U.S. Driver's License is required
Preferred
Project management, technical or engineering background and experience with similar telecommunications, operational center or data center migrations to a new facility
IT project and program management experience within an Information Technology or Operational Technology environment
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
