Responsibilities

Achieve and maintain appropriate Operator Authorization(s) as required
Work from blueprints, sketches, method sheets, and other written instructions
Analyze finish and dimensional requirements and determine the most effective and efficient processes. Select equipment, media, and cycle time to achieve required results
Operate a variety of tools and equipment including speed lathe, tumbling equipment, high powered scopes, drills, hand grinders, a wide range of hand and power operated tools, and fixed and variable measuring equipment
Troubleshoot problems and develop and implement corrective action
Determine techniques necessary to salvage bellows subassemblies and assemblies
Suggest equipment and process improvements and replacement
Respond to questions and help resolve problems. Assist with training of other employees and advise them on latest techniques and most efficient use of equipment
