Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HVAC installers
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to ensure continuous improvement
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and cooperation among staff
Oversee all HVAC installation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards
Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives
Conduct pre-installation meetings with customers to discuss project details and address any concerns
Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and professionally
Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, products, and industry trends
Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams
Ensure all installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship
Address any deficiencies or issues identified during inspections
Maintain accurate records of installations, including contracts, permits, inspections, and maintenance schedules
Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and service, to ensure seamless operations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred
Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and organization
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation best practices
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
EPA certification required
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials
Comfortable working in various conditions, including confined spaces and outdoor environments
Capability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
Preferred
Technical or trade school certification preferred
NATE certification preferred
