Responsibilities

Review specifications and contract drawings for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements

Create accurate drawings for HVAC control systems and schematics using AutoCAD or Visio/Smartware

Size control valves, dampers, and airflow stations for HVAC systems, as applicable

Write and interpret sequences of operations for these systems

Perform voltage calculations for fire alarm systems

Understand system operations for protective systems, as required

Required

Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience

Three (3) years of related experience required

Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite, Adobe

Technical background in electrical circuits, HVAC and controls required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to organize work and pay close attention to details

Capable to manage workload and schedules to meet deadlines promptly

Preferred

Bachelor's degree

Understanding of advanced hydronic and duct work systems
