Responsibilities

Develop and work with the CEO to implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support annual revenue goals
Identify, cultivate, and steward individual donors and corporate sponsors
Work with CEO to create grant strategy to be co-managed by this role and CEO
Maintain accurate donor database and ensure timely acknowledgment of all contributions
Monitor fundraising metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership
Plan and execute annual events including Leadership Day, Step Up Conference, and Graduation
Support staff and Alumni Committee with alumni and standalone events
Manage all event logistics including venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, and vendor coordination
Develop event marketing strategies and promotional materials
Coordinate volunteer recruitment and management for events
Oversee event budgets and ensure cost-effective execution
Evaluate event success and gather feedback for continuous improvement
Assist staff with other LSC stewardship events, open houses, and community events including summer festivals, Juneteenth, Pride Month events, Oktoberfest, and resource fairs

Required

2+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and/or event management, communications, marketing, or related field
Proven track record of meeting fundraising goals and managing successful events
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management and organizational abilities
Proficiency in donor management software (preferably Salesforce or similar CRM)
Knowledge of fundraising best practices and ethical standards

Preferred

Post secondary education (college-level coursework or degree) in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field
Experience with annual giving campaigns and major gift solicitation
Experience with grant writing and foundation relations
Background in leadership development or professional development programs
Familiarity with Snohomish County business and philanthropic community
Event planning certification or relevant professional development
Experience with social media marketing and digital fundraising tools
Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred)
