Responsibilities
Support the accuracy and timeliness of the month-end close for assigned projects
Track and review project costs, ensuring expenses are properly coded and allocated
Assist with preparation of project funding requests and external reporting packages
Allocate labor and overhead costs across projects and internal business units
Perform account reconciliations, cost variance analysis, and financial reviews
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports to support project and leadership decision-making
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows
Provide general accounting and project finance support as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
4+ Years of accounting experience in a project-driven environment (construction or energy)
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with detailed financial data
Experience supporting multiple projects and/or legal entities
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities
Strong communicator who can work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred
Big 4 CPA qualified individuals looking to join a high growth clean energy company will also be considered
