Responsibilities

Deal Leadership: Lead structured finance and securitization transactions across ABS, CLOs, and credit products from inception to closing

Document Drafting & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, indentures, credit agreements, custodial agreements, and related documentation

Client & Counsel Collaboration: Work closely with internal deal teams, institutional clients, and external counsel to drive successful execution

Regulatory & Risk Advisory: Advise on transaction structures, regulatory requirements, and risk management considerations

Timeline & Execution Management: Manage deal pipelines, ensuring documentation, approvals, and closings are completed accurately and on schedule

Process Improvement: Enhance transaction management processes and contribute to best practices across the legal function

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required

Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar required

Strong understanding of capital markets, investment structures, and the regulatory landscape impacting securitization

Advanced legal drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills, with the ability to handle multiple complex deals simultaneously

Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills with the ability to manage deadlines and provide practical legal advice
