Responsibilities
Develop space plans, design concepts and product selections tailored to client requirements. Prepare proposals and follow through to close sales while providing exceptional customer service
Meet individual sales goals while maintaining high design standards
Maintain knowledge of product offering, pricing and current design trends
Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy when working with all staff and vendors. Valuing teamwork, communication, mutual respect and contribute to a positive work place attitude
Follow up with existing customers to support repeat business and long term relationships as well as networking to gain new clientele
Participate in team meetings, training sessions and product education
Resolve customer questions or concerns in partnership with support staff
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of experience in residential interior design
Proficiency in floor planning software
Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and experience in consistent communication with clientele
Experience in a showroom or design center setting with incentive driven sales experience
Strong clientele following
