AZAD Technology Partners is a leading provider of Consulting Services to Fortune 500 and innovative firms. They are seeking an Electrical Engineer responsible for providing technical leadership for substation projects and collaborating with various teams throughout the project phases.

Responsibilities

Providing technical leadership for substation projects for the scoping, design, construction and closeout phases

Working closely with planning engineers, asset/program managers, project managers and contracting officers/CORs

Serving as the link between personnel and scoping and design teams

Providing consulting services to Transmission Planning and other organizations for what-if analysis and feasibility studies

Providing technical leadership during the design phase of projects

Resolving technical problems, disagreements and scope changes during projects

Providing services during the construction phase of projects

Qualification

Electrical Engineering DegreeHigh Voltage SystemsProject ManagementPMP CertificationFirst Aid Certification

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or other closely related Engineering field is required

With an applicable Bachelor's degree, 10 yrs of experience is required

Experience should include project management experience closely related to some or all the following (High Voltage Substation, Telecommunication system or high voltage transmission line systems)

3 years working knowledge of High voltage systems, System Control, Communications, Relay planning, functional and technical specifications in a typical electric power system

Valid U.S. Driver's License is required

First Aid/AED/CPR Certification required within 30 days of assignment start. Worker/Employer is responsible for maintaining current certification
