Overseeing administration, programs, public policy and advocacy, and executing the organization’s strategic vision
Ensuring The Arc of New Mexico’s relevance to the communities it serves
Providing inspirational action-orientated leadership to continually enhance the organization’s capacity to carry out its mission
Ensuring accountability of the organization to its diverse constituents
Administering board support
Developing and sustaining financial strength
Enhancing organizational operations including infrastructure, human resources, program efficiency and effectiveness
Optimizing external and internal communications and partnerships
Engaging in other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in a human services or organizational management field (Public Administration; Business Administration; Human Services; Social Work; Public Law, etc.) OR equivalent experience
Preferred
Proven fundraising success
Strong knowledge of disability communities and New Mexico systems
Empowering servant-leadership style
Creative, future-focused leadership experience
