Responsibilities
Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair robotic packaging equipment at customer sites
Perform preventive maintenance, audits, retrofits, and training sessions
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC control systems (including servo drives and VFDs)
Ensure top-tier service delivery by meeting response times, first-time fix rates, and customer satisfaction goals
Accurately document all service activities, reports, and follow-ups
Provide feedback on equipment reliability and contribute to continuous improvement
Collaborate with international U2 Robotics USA partner companies and participate in cross-training opportunities
Qualification
Required
Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
Strong robotics, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems knowledge
Ability to read and interpret complex technical schematics and documentation
Experience with PLC systems (basic programming and troubleshooting)
Proficiency with servo motor systems, VFD parameter setup, and control systems
Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially in automation and robotics
Preferred
Associate's degree (or higher) in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, or related technical field
2+ years of hands-on experience in servicing capital packaging and robotic equipment in industrial environments
Familiarity with safety standards for Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
Ability to travel frequently (up to 80%) domestically and internationally
Valid driver's license and passport
Bonus: Experience with packaging machinery, magnetic conveyors, robotic unscramblers, or capping/filling equipment
