Director of Venue Operations & Sales
Swift Fit Events is a fast-growing event venue dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for various events. The Director of Venue Operations & Sales will oversee venue sales, event coordination, and operational leadership, ensuring a high standard of service and client satisfaction.
Events Services
Responsibilities
Own venue sales strategy, pricing, and revenue targets
Drive inbound and outbound venue sales, including outreach to corporate clients, planners, brands, and partners
Manage the full sales process from initial inquiry through contract execution and event date
Build and maintain a healthy booking pipeline and venue calendar across both properties
Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, including recurring events, buyouts, and long-term partnerships
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after events
Coordinate event logistics, timelines, setup, execution, and breakdown
Create and manage event layouts, floor plans, and diagrams as needed for clients and vendors
Ensure all events meet client expectations and The Fox Den’s standards
Resolve issues quickly and professionally to ensure a positive client experience and repeat business
Build and maintain relationships with caterers, bar services, AV providers, planners, and other vendors
Structure vendor partnerships that may include:
Preferred vendor relationships
Exclusive vendor agreements
Operational partnerships where vendors assist in running or staffing events
Ensure all vendors comply with venue contracts, policies, and house rules
Draft, manage, and enforce venue contracts, rules, and policies
Ensure all agreements protect the venue while remaining clear and client-friendly
Maintain an iron-clad set of house rules to ensure guests, vendors, and renters abide by venue standards
Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, insurance requirements, and safety standards
Oversee day-to-day venue operations across both locations
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times
Hire, train, schedule, and manage venue staff, including event coordinators, contractors, and custodial teams
Monitor inventory, equipment, and venue assets
Handle budgeting, invoicing, and basic financial reporting related to venue operations
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience in venue management, event sales, hospitality, or related fields
Proven experience owning sales responsibility and revenue outcomes
Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to operate at a manager / director level, balancing strategy with hands-on execution
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Tripleseat for creating event layouts, managing bookings, and supporting sales and operations workflows
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
Preferred
Knowledge of event contracts, vendor management, and local permitting is a strong plus
