Start in 2026 SummerCoinbase is on a mission to increase economic freedom in the world, and they are seeking a highly motivated Business Controller Intern to join their team. The intern will assist with the company’s product launch review process and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure proper finance impact of product launches is identified and addressed.

Responsibilities
Assist with the Company’s product launch review process including review of product requirements document, scoping for finance stakeholder impact and validation of test transactions
Assist with preparation of product launch briefs, runbooks, scoping checklists and user acceptance testing
Cross-functional collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders including Controllership, Tax, Risk, FP&A, Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal to ensure proper finance impact of product launches have been identified and addressed
Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
Maintain up-to-date process documentation and procedures for all tasks
Support ad hoc financial information requests and analyses and other special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field
Possess excellent analytical skills, business partnering, problem solving and prioritization skills
Basic knowledge of US GAAP, SQL and experience working with Databricks, Snowflake, Looker or similar analytics tools
Basic knowledge and experience using AI tools such as LibreChat, Claude, etc. and building automated workflows and agents
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic knowledge Coinbase, digital assets and the crypto economy, or a desire to learn
