Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management Lead

Responsibilities

Supports the PM in implementing strategies to manage program risks by aligning program objectives with acceptable risk levels
Develops a systematic approach to identifying, assessing and responding to threats and opportunities
Informs strategic and tactical decision making by providing thorough risk assessment across the organization, ensuring a comprehensive approach
Provides expert advice to the Government Program Manager and Senior Space Force leadership regarding risks related to finance, operations, regulations, security or the environment through effective management of data as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis
Provides clear communication of risks and strategies to all stakeholders, including international allies and partners
Drafts presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication inputs
Provides actionable recommendations to address prioritized risks to the Government Program Manager
Develops and collaborates on acquisition planning briefings and documents (AoA, ASP, ASD, J&A, etc.)
Develops and collaborates on solicitation planning and execution documents (RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.)

Required

Bachelor's degree in related field: Communications, International Relations, Management/Leadership
12 years of applicable job experience
Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Preferred

Understands Program Management of ACAT I through ACAT III programs
Previously served as an evaluator/advisor on at least one Source Selection
Experience with Confluence and JIRA
Certifications: DAWIA/APDP Program Management Level III, Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or PMP Program Management Professional (PgMP)
Experience with MILSATCOM, such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, and Tactical SATCOM or COMSATCOM
Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
