Responsibilities

Guide the planning, development, and oversight of the organization’s annual operating and capital budgets
Track financial performance against established budgets, highlighting trends, variances, and areas needing deeper review
Produce monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for senior leadership and relevant Board committees
Prepare and maintain cash flow models to forecast short- and long-term liquidity needs
Track grant activity and ensure alignment between internal reporting and funder requirements
Prepare project-specific financial reports for interim and final grant submissions
Assist with monitoring restricted funds, endowment assets, and other investment-related activity
Support the annual audit by preparing schedules, drafting narratives, and reviewing internal financial information
Recommend and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance financial processes

Required

Strategic financial leadership experience
Experience overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and internal reporting
Ability to provide financial insight to senior leadership and department heads
Experience in long-term sustainability planning
Ability to support executive decision-making with data-driven analysis
Experience in planning, development, and oversight of annual operating and capital budgets
Ability to track financial performance against established budgets
Experience producing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
Ability to prepare and maintain cash flow models
Experience tracking grant activity and ensuring alignment with funder requirements
Ability to prepare project-specific financial reports for grant submissions
Experience monitoring restricted funds, endowment assets, and investment-related activity
Ability to support annual audits by preparing schedules and reviewing financial information
Ability to recommend and implement opportunities to streamline workflows and improve reporting accuracy
