Responsibilities

Document and follow-up of individual and program related needs

Ensure compliance with policies and Washington Administrative Rules

One-on-one training of DSP staff

Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance

Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve

Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene and more

Shopping and meal preparation

Perform housekeeping and laundry duties, including cleaning, organizing, maintaining a safe and tidy living environment, and washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes and linens

Build relationships with persons served and teammates

Attend community outings and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events

Transport clients to appointments or other activities outside the home

Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest

Document progress, milestones, and action steps

2 years of caregiving experience required

HS Diploma or GED required

Valid drivers license required

21 years or older
