Responsibilities
Lead the ServiceNow platform architecture strategy, planning, and implementation across the enterprise
Collaborate with financial business teams and C-level executives to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions
Design and architect robust and scalable ServiceNow solutions that align with financial industry best practices, compliance, and audit controls
Drive enterprise-wide ServiceNow initiatives, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CMDB, GRC, and custom app development
Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and integration of ServiceNow with third-party systems
Define architectural standards, frameworks, and governance models
Perform impact analysis of new requirements and enhancements on existing systems
Oversee platform health, upgrades, security configurations, performance optimization, and version management
Collaborate with ServiceNow developers and implementation teams to ensure delivery excellence
Mentor junior architects and developers and promote ServiceNow best practices
Create and maintain architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and roadmaps
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
8+ years of ServiceNow experience, with at least 3+ years in an Architect or Lead role
Strong expertise across ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, GRC, and Financial Services Operations (FSO), is a plus
Proven track record of architecting ServiceNow solutions in the financial or banking domain
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills—able to engage directly with business executives
Experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other API technologies
Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript), workflow customization, and UI policies
ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Technical Architect preferred
Strong documentation skills and experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred
Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery models
Knowledge of security protocols and ServiceNow security models
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in ServiceNow environments
Financial reporting, audit, and compliance knowledge relevant to ServiceNow implementations
