Pool Receptionist - Seasonal

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is seeking a Pool Receptionist for their pool facility, responsible for ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for guests. The role involves administrative tasks, customer service, and maintaining a safe pool environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
Provide information about pool services, programs, and policies
Handle inquiries, complaints, and requests with a positive attitude
Process pool admissions and memberships
Ensure accurate and efficient registration of pool guests
Verify and collect fees for pool access or classes
Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally
Provide information regarding pool schedules, events, and policies
Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
Maintain a balanced cash drawer and prepare daily financial reports
Enforce pool safety rules and regulations
Monitor pool area for any unsafe conditions and report issues promptly
Collaborate with lifeguards and management to address safety concerns
Maintain accurate records of pool attendance and activities
Assist with scheduling of pool events, classes, and programs
Help with general administrative duties as needed
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable
Assist with organizing pool equipment and maintaining a tidy workspace
Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

Required

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends
Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment with high call volume
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
Written communication skills in English may also be required
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces

Preferred

Previous customer service experience preferred
Knowledge of pool safety rules and regulations is a plus
