Responsibilities

You would be joining an exciting team in Uber Grocery tasked with building the best-in-class consumer shopping experience
This team is responsible for building the platform that powers the in-app merchandising and promotions for Grocery consumers around the world, enabling them to easily discover and shop for their favorite merchants and items
In this role, you will partner with stakeholders and lead team efforts to build and maintain backend services and solutions to support user-facing products and internal tools and platforms used across Uber

Qualification

Programming languagesProduct engineeringScalability engineeringDistributed systemsSoftware engineering experience

Required

PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR 3-years full-time Software Engineering work experience, WHICH INCLUDES 2-years total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas:
Programming language (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python, or Go)

Preferred

Product engineering
Scalability engineering
Distributed systems
