They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part time Bookkeeper to manage bookkeeping and accounting functions for RHS and its clients, including accounts payable/receivables and budget reports.
Management Consulting
Responsibilities
Approve and enter vendor payables
Disburse vendor payables and maintain A/P aging
Manage cash and collections
Process monthly bank reconciliations
Perform monthly adjusting entries
Prepare monthly internal financial report
Reconcile Expense Reports and manage expenses policy and reporting
Support payroll & 1099 contractor payments
Work with auditor and Controller regarding annual non-profit audits & tax returns
Oversee & Maintain necessary Insurance Policies
Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
Maintain and monitor financial records for accuracy
Reconcile or report any discrepancies in financial reports
Produce or pay invoices for credit card bills or inventory orders
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience, with non-profit / start up experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Suite & Products – Share Point / Teams / One Drive
Familiarity with project management & bookkeeping systems
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proactive in setting up systems to increase efficiency
Professional environment, ability to work internal and external customers
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and with minimal supervision
Preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of QuickBooks desktop
Prior nonprofit and start-up experience
