Responsibilities
The Treadmill Technician is responsible for the performance of diagnostic Cardiac Treadmill Testing, assists with Stress Echocardiogram Testing, EKGs, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors, and Nuclear Stress Testing
Provides written technical impressions to assist cardiologists with interpretations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Current BLS issued through American Heart Association required
Must possess strong organizational, time management, detail and communication skills; the ability to prioritize projects and work in a fast paced, frequently crisis driven environment
Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail and typing
Data collection, problem solving, and decision making skills required
Two years experience in related health care field required
Preferred
ACLS issued by the American Heart Association preferred
IV certification preferred
Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) certification preferred
EMT-I or EMT-P or medical assistant certification preferred
Bilingual in Spanish or local Native language a plus
