Responsibilities
Conduct financial analysis, business analysis and profitability and cost analysis projects that are presented to senior management. Directs and oversees preparation and review of monthly operating financial statements, forecasts, monthly variance analysis, external financial statements and budget process
Analyze variances from planned or forecasted results in order to provide insights and recommendations to management
Support business leaders with the management of their budgets. Lead the preparation and review of financial planning materials so leaders can manage their business objectives against budget and plan goals
Directly manage a team of 9 and due to the nature of the JV collaborate closely with others across Comcast
Direct the preparation of all financial reports and analysis for management and operations review
Develop ways to continually improve processes to ensure timely and accurate analysis for management team
Provides motivation, direction and leadership for Finance team and adheres to the policies and standards of the Company
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
10 Years + relevant work experience
Strong leadership ability
Solid background in financial planning & analysis
Financial operations experience
Business collaboration experience
Strategic mindset to thrive in a high-growth/start up environment
Ability to conduct financial analysis, business analysis and profitability and cost analysis projects
Experience in preparing and reviewing monthly operating financial statements, forecasts, monthly variance analysis, external financial statements and budget process
Ability to analyze variances from planned or forecasted results
Experience supporting business leaders with budget management
Experience managing a team
Ability to develop ways to continually improve processes for timely and accurate analysis
Ability to provide motivation, direction and leadership for Finance team
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
