Oakworth Capital Bank is expanding and has an excellent opportunity for someone to join our team in Birmingham, AL! We are looking for a fulltime role for Loan Coordinator, Post Closing that will play a vital role in supporting our current & future clients.

Responsibilities
This role is directly responsible for the pre-closing due diligence and gathering of supporting documentation for disclosure requirements, new loan requests, or modification of existing loans
Daily administration of all loans and related bank accounts
Acts as primary support for all loan related tasks for the bank’s entire loan portfolio according to regulatory compliance, state law, and bank policy to mitigate risk, perfect liens, and ensure complete and proper documentation is in place
Complete funding for closed loans and renewals, amendments, and modifications in Horizon. Manage disbursements detailed in the loan transaction, collection and allocation of interest and fees. Payment of invoices related to loan transaction
Ensure lien perfection by completing all necessary recordings and acknowledgements. Follow the loan process to ensure safety & soundness through proper lien perfection & documented transactions
Conduct post-closing reviews of all documents to ensure closed documents, loan approval, and Horizon are compliant and in accordance with the approved loan to ensure safety & soundness
Provide loan support for the bank, collaborating with Client Advisors on upcoming transactions, and setting client expectations
Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline processes, with a focus on reducing duplicated efforts
Fund all loans post-closing; funding/disbursements; complete the loan on the mainframe to include interest rate settings, payment/billing set up, collateral, etc
Perfect all liens on collateral and pays closing costs as required on each transaction
Daily routine could include recon and general ledger balances and/or transactions; daily report review; mail; SWAP Payments; issue resolution; unposted item review; and other such duties as may be assigned
Support the lending staff in all loan related questions and/or issues
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or three to five years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required
Preferred
Successful experience working in various banking systems such as Horizon, FLO (Fidelity Loan Origination), FCM/ImageCentre, as well as a CRM (Client Relationship Management) system is highly preferred
