Project Engineer
Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is a company focused on OEM contract manufacturing projects and design of attachments for construction equipment. The Project Engineer will manage engineering documentation, oversee project management activities, and collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure successful design and production of attachments.

Responsibilities
Manage 3D models and drawings for new or changing OEM products within agriculture, construction, industrial, and military industries
Take full ownership of your engineering documents (drawings, models, BOM’s, and shop routings) related to assigned projects
Collaborate design changes and assist customers with design for manufacturability opportunities
Provide technical support and coordinate project management activities with internal departments including: tooling, quality, purchasing, production planning, sales, production personnel, and shipping
Design of attachments for compact construction equipment. Includes design from cradle to grave: design investigation, modeling, detailing, design documentation, costing, supplier interaction & selection, design validation including finite element analysis reviews and testing, engineering change notices, and releasing to production
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong problem-solving skills
Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to details
Able to work on own initiative but also contribute as a team member working within Engineering and other cross functional teams
Strong communication and project management skills
Preferred
A combination of 3-5 years of experience in design or in manufacturing is preferred
Exposure to 3D CAD programs
