Software Engineer 5 - Partner Payments
Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, and they are seeking a Software Engineer 5 to join their Partner Platform Engineering team. The role focuses on building scalable Partner Payments products and optimizing partner-facing APIs to enhance revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Build Partner Payments products to drive revenue growth and improve key acquisition metrics
Work on infrastructure initiatives to uphold technical excellence, optimize and streamline operations, and elevate partner-facing APIs
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience designing and building high-scale, low-latency, highly-available distributed systems in cloud environments
Strong backend OOO programming skills with Java, Kotlin, C#, or Scala
Thrive in an environment of ambiguity and comfortable to define the requirements with stakeholders
Focused on solving problems without an ego, pragmatic and thoughtful
Unusually responsible and motivated to deliver high quality solutions quickly
Enjoy collaboration and can effectively build strong relationships with cross-functional teams
Good communication skills and can explain complex technical problems to different audiences
Preferred
Experience with SQL & NoSQL multi-region databases
Experience with API design and development with a strong understanding about public API design best practices
Experience with event-driven architecture
BS degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
