Motive Companies is partnering with a leading space systems company to hire a Manufacturing Engineering Manager responsible for developing, scaling, and optimizing advanced manufacturing processes for satellite and launch hardware. This role will build the foundation of a manufacturing-centric culture-driving efficiency, quality, and innovation in a rapidly growing production environment.

Responsibilities

Establish scalable, repeatable manufacturing processes for complex hardware

Oversee facilities layout, tooling, and process control systems

Define standards for converting eBOMs to mBOMs and maintain documentation

Implement training programs for assembly and integration technicians

Lead the selection and integration of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM)

Establish KPIs to measure safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance

Collaborate with design teams on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Test (DFT)

Lead corrective action efforts for quality or process non-conformances
