Audio Visual Technician II - Silver Legacy (Reno)

Caesars Entertainment is a leading company in the hospitality and entertainment industry, and they are seeking an Audio Visual Technician II to support day-to-day catering/convention operations as well as nightlife and live entertainment. The role involves troubleshooting, setting up AV equipment, and assisting in various events while ensuring excellent service standards.

Food and Beverage

Responsibilities

Provide advance troubleshooting and train tier 1 technicians
Set-up and removal of AV equipment for catering/convention clients according to BEO orders
Organize and clean of work areas
Troubleshoot and minor repair of AV equipment
Install cabling for video, lighting, and sound systems in different areas of the hotel and gaming floor
Assist with concerts/production crew in setting up scheduled concerts, pyrotechnic shows, and interdepartmental special events regarding equipment load in, curtain hang, chair risers, stage set-up, lighting and sound set-up, tear down, and load out
Set up and operate AV equipment as required

Required

Knowledge of audio, lighting, casino systems, hotel TV/phone/network systems and venue systems
Working knowledge of computers, basic carpentry, rigging applications, electrical, mechanical equipment and video applications
Must have sound engineer experience and/or lighting experience
Must be able to pass and attain required OSHA certifications as well as fall protection
Requires excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure of ever-changing deadlines
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with employees and guests
Must be able to drive a scissor lift and forklift training and certification will be provided
High School diploma or equivalent
