Responsibilities

Apply extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture

Required

A BS or MS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record in managing large-scale critical service
Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and performance optimization within a technology-driven environment
Exceptional decision-making abilities, with experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Strong background in recruiting, developing, and leading senior individual contributors (ICs) and building high-performing teams
Ability to make decisions that significantly impact the organization's infrastructure, with potential implications for revenue and long-term operational success
Experience in Networking and Data Center Operations
Experience in managing a large scale critical service in a Cloud computing
Expertise in Distributed Systems, IoT, network monitoring and automation

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
