Human Resources Director
Eisner Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing comprehensive medical care in Los Angeles County. The Human Resources Director is responsible for leading HR functions, managing operations, compliance, employee relations, and talent acquisition, while fostering a culture of engagement and accountability.

Responsibilities
In collaboration with the CEO, develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with Eisner Health’s mission and goals
In collaboration with executive leadership, shape long-term organizational vision and people strategy
Identify and monitor key HR performance indicators; assess organizational success and market competitiveness
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing decisions with HR expertise
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to ensure high performance, professional growth, and effective succession planning
Establish clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations
Foster a collaborative, high-trust environment that promotes innovation and accountability within the HR team
Ensure the HR department is resourced effectively to meet organizational needs
In collaboration with the HR Manager, lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning strategies
Work with leaders to forecast staffing needs
In collaboration with the COO, facilitate succession planning
In collaboration with the CFO and executive leadership, develop budgets
Support workforce development through leadership education, training, and employee growth opportunities
Foster high levels of employee engagement and retention
In collaboration with executive leadership, design an employee engagement and wellness strategy
Oversee employee relations, counseling, and disciplinary processes, ensuring fair and legally compliant practices
Guide leadership in performance management and conflict resolution
Design and manage competitive compensation, benefits, and incentive programs
Monitor market trends to ensure Eisner Health remains competitive
Ensure compliance with all employment laws, HR regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards
Develop, implement, and update HR policies; train supervisors on compliance responsibilities in collaboration with the Director of Compliance
Oversee HRIS (UKG Pro) operations and data integrity
Deliver timely and informative HR communications across the organization
Guide the HR team in execution of day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred OR equivalent relevant experience
8–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including strategic and talent management
Healthcare industry experience required
Strong knowledge of California employment law required
Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Ability to build consensus, foster positive employee morale, and lead in a diverse, fast-paced environment
Proven track record of driving organizational performance and employee engagement
Cultural competency and commitment to Eisner Health's mission
Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
