Responsibilities

Supports the evaluation of program and project requirements, develops moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System
Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates for tooling
Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements
Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares
Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel
Develops and implements moderately complex work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation
Supports studies for disposition of assets

Required

Level 2 - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (includes Manufacturing Engineering technology), Computer Science, Engineering Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
Level 3 - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
Minimum 2 or more years' of experience in a manufacturing environment and/or tool engineering discipline
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required. 'U.S. Person' includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

Preferred

3 or more years' of experience working in a Tool Engineering role and/or manufacturing environment
2 or more years' of CATIA/NX/CREO/SolidWorks or equivalent solid modeling experience
Experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems
Ability to learn in a fast paced environment
Ability to collaborate with both the engineering work force and the mechanics on the factory floor
