Responsibilities
Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment from brokers and carriers
Establish and maintain regular communication with brokers and carriers to resolve any payment issues
Accurately track, record, and update payment statuses, addressing any discrepancies
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve cash flow
Generate and analyze reports on account balances and payment trends, providing actionable insights
Assist in developing strategies to minimize overdue accounts and optimize payment collections
Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives within the AR department as needed
Qualification
Required
A strong work ethic and capacity to learn quickly
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve issues effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in records and data
Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to solving problems and meeting deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, displaying a high level of ownership and responsibility
