Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day process engineering support for different production units
Perform key engineering calculations: line sizing, pump sizing, PSV sizing (API 520/521)
Develop and update PFDs, P&IDs, and Mass & Energy Balances
Create equipment and control valve specifications
Support PSM activities including MOCs, HAZOPs and compliance reviews
Troubleshoot plant issues during site visits; support turnarounds and startups
Collaborate with Project Services on small capital projects
Qualification
Required
BS in Chemical Engineering preferred (Mechanical/related disciplines accepted with strong process background)
Hands-on field experience in a chemical plant, refinery or similar process industry
3-5 years of process engineering experience supporting manufacturing operations
Comfortable working in operating units - climbing stairs/ladders, troubleshooting equipment and engaging with operators
Strong understanding of P&IDs, PFDs, process calculations and equipment specs
Ability to travel 30-40% for site support
Organized, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
Preferred
Exposure to PSM, MOC, HAZOP and API/ASME codes (a plus)
