Responsibilities
Manage POS system installations and conversions, specifically transitioning businesses from legacy systems to Lightspeed, QuickBooks POS, Ruby POS, and Mitchell One
Provide technical support via email, phone, and remote access to assist merchants in setup and troubleshooting
Work closely with POS resellers, vendors, and partners to ensure proper configuration and deployment
Conduct POS system demonstrations for prospective clients to ensure they understand system functionality and features
Assist merchants in setting up credit card terminals and peripheral hardware
Configure, test, and ship POS hardware and software components
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network configuration issues to minimize disruptions
Maintain detailed notes in the CRM system regarding installations, troubleshooting, and customer interactions
Contribute to the Riverside Payments Knowledge Base to document solutions, best practices, and troubleshooting steps
Order equipment and accessories as needed to support installations and conversions
Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring merchants have a smooth transition to their new POS system
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in POS installations, focusing specifically on challenging or intricate integrations
Expertise in POS system migrations, specifically with Lightspeed, QuickBooks POS, Ruby POS, and Mitchell One
Strong background in merchant services, payment processing technologies, and POS integrations
Experience working with CRMs or HelpDesk systems
Proficiency in Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong customer service and communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building
