Customer Services Supervisor - Electrical Operations

GES - Global Experience Specialists is seeking a Customer Services Supervisor for their Electrical Operations team. This role involves leading the pre-planning of electrical needs for shows, managing team tasks, and ensuring excellent service delivery to exhibitors on-site.

Responsibilities

Lead by example in all departmental processes and SOPs
Delegate and assign tasks to team members
Provide continuous performance and behavioral feedback
Proactive contact with exhibitors to receive electrical orders
Follow-up contact with exhibitors to clarify orders
Transfer electrical labor orders to power floor plans
Process electrical orders and generate labor tickets for electrical types of labor
Review and audit electrical orders against floor plans ensuring their accuracy
Monitor and evaluate staffing levels as needed
Monitor workflow at show site making sure desks are running efficiently and effectively and all tasks are being completed in a timely manner
Assume escalation of all exhibitor issues as deemed necessary with appropriate resolution and follow through
Ensure show site staff are operating in full compliance with GES processes and procedures
Assist exhibitors at show site with any new orders or changes to existing orders
Organize electrical orders to ensure correct dispatching at show site
Effectively dispatch electrical labor at show site. Ensure proper documentation and electrical billing accuracy
Data entry and audit of electrical labor produced at show site
Prioritize tasks & responsibilities to meet deadlines and complete highest priorities first
Support and communicate with all internal and external customers
Assist in training, coaching and development of staff
Assist in annual review process
Keep Managers and Team Managers up to date on all issues
Perform all duties with the utmost integrity avoiding any conflict of interest between GES and any other entities
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required

High School diploma required
Demonstrate leadership ability
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proven verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
Ability to work nights and weekends and possible holidays is required
Must be able to work flexible schedule work hours, shifts or days worked will vary due to show schedules and adapt to short notice of schedule changes –standard non-show hours are 8am-4:30pm in a Hybrid environment
Travel is required

Preferred

College graduate preferred
Knowledge of Tradeshow industry, preferred but not mandatory
