Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

PKF O'Connor Davies is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join their rapidly growing M&A advisory practice. The role involves significant responsibilities related to pitching for and executing middle-market sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions across diverse industries.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial and valuation models and other key financial analyses
Support the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials, and other marketing documents
Conduct industry research to identify key trends, potential buyers, and acquisition targets
Facilitate due diligence processes, coordinating with internal teams, other advisors, and clients
Coordinate and manage various aspects of deal execution from origination to closure
Assist senior bankers in their business development efforts and support all aspects of the transaction process
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of deliverables, adhering to internal and client deadlines

Required

4-year degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or MBA from a top-tier business school
Minimum of two years of Investment Banking work experience (no exceptions)
Series 63 and 79 licenses
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
Effective communication skills – both written and verbal – and ability to develop relationships
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as financial modeling experience
Strong project management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
