The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct research on host cellular pathway remodeling during viral infections, particularly focusing on HIV-1 projects, utilizing advanced proteomics technologies.

Responsibilities
Conduct research on host cellular pathway remodeling during viral infections with a focus on HIV-1 projects
Investigate the function of HIV-1 accessory genes
Identify novel, functional kinase-substrate interactions in viral and/or innate immune pathways
Identify novel roles of ubiquitin E3 ligases and deubiquitinases in viral and/or innate immune pathways
Qualification
Required
Recent Ph.D. in virology, microbiology, immunology, or a related field
Experience with HIV-1
Experience with flow-cytometry
Experience with ELISA
Experience with WB
Experience with ELISPOT
Experience with qPCR
Experience with CyTOF data analyses
Experience with mouse work
MD or PhD
Preferred
Experience with primary cell culture
Experience with medium- to large-scale genetic screening (e.g, RNAi or CRISPR/Cas9)
Experience with next-generation genomics
Experience with mass spectrometry-based proteomics
Competency interpreting genome- or proteome-wide data using traditional programming (e.g., Perl, Python, C/C++) or a programming environment (e.g., R, Matlab)
