Responsibilities

Support component design and drawing development using 2D and 3D CAD tools

Design automotive components, test cells, and electrification systems

Execute concept design, preliminary design research, and detailed modeling of components and assemblies

Coordinate with prototype and production manufacturing teams to ensure quality and feasibility

Prepare and release engineering drawings in accordance with project timelines

Perform design evaluations, analysis, and reporting

Manage scheduling and documentation for design deliverables

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

5 years of experience in 2 and 3-dimensional software modelling in automotive industry with Preliminary design preparation (gathering information before designing)

Strong understanding of engineering drawings, standards, and codes

Knowledge of mechanical and cost calculations, raw material codes, and design theory

Excellent time management and ability to work independently

Strong project management, data analysis, and problem-solving skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Experience with CATIA V6 and 3DExperience is a strong plus

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and standard engineering tools
