Responsibilities

Repetitive injection and control of wax patterns and sprues
Performs inspection of all patterns and sprues. Determines whether to accept, reject, or repair the pattern per documented instructions
Follows established protocol for notification of potential deviations or scrap trends
Performs set-up of dimensional gauges
Utilizes the necessary fixturing or gauges to ensure dimensional conformance of the patterns, molds, cores, etc. to specified tolerances
Prepares sprues as required and locates ceramic bracing per engineering specification
Performs specified operations during injection cycle
Torch sprues, seal and pour cup. Add bracing as required per engineering specifications
Maintains necessary supplies for the area to maximize productivity
Must pay close attention to detail
Sets up equipment as required to perform specific activities
Follow 5S rules and procedures
Utilize help chain when needed. (Human Performance, BOLO)
Works overtime as needed
Performs other duties as required
Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations
Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Requires wearing safety glasses, gloves and Metatarsal shoes
Report all job-related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook)
Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner
Attend all EHS training

Required

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items

Preferred

Basic Computer skills
Minimum of 1 year of wax experience is preferred
